Dear Family of Charlene,
She was a blessing to know. Alway had a smile on her face when I would
see her at Little Peoples. Always wanted to know how I was doing.
Will miss her. God Bless you in your time of sorrow.

To Ms. Charlene's family:
I was SO blessed not only to know Ms. Charlene, but to call her my friend. I will never forget when my daughter went to Little Peoples. Brianna was in Kindergarten and was so upset about me leaving her in the mornings. Several mornings Brianna would eat breakfast there, and many of those mornings Ms. Charlene would sit w/my crying daughter just to keep her company so I could leave for work. Ms. Charlene would even let Brianna help with laundry to keep her busy too.. When I ran into Ms. Charlene at Walmart she would always take the time to chat with me..
Ms. Charlene touched SO many lives, and those lives were blessed because of her.
Love and prayers,
Rose & Brianna Wood

Frank, Jim, Kevin and Kimberly, My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your families. We were all devastated to hear of Charlene's passing. I was so blessed by her friendship. She always inspired and encouraged me. She would often say we were young Mom's when we met at Glad Tidings Academy, and now we share stories about our grandchildren. Charlene had a loving, caring and giving spirit. We were all lifted by her great sense of humor. Charlene loved God, her family and was so very proud of her grandchildren.
May God surround you with His love and the love of family and friends at this difficult time.
I loved Charlene and I will miss her. Sincerely, Rosemary

Dear Bradshaw Family,
I work with Vicki Guffey at Millikin University. I talked with Charlene often and her humor would light up my day! We had many conversations about our health. One day she mentioned she had jaw pain (associated with possible heart problems). Later, I experienced the same pain. Remembering Charlene's words, I made the decision to call the Dr. and headed to the ER. After open-heart surgery, I have an aortic mecahnical valve. Charlene literally saved my life! I believe God put her in my path. My tears flow for your loss. Please know that she will be missed by many and remembered by all whose lives she touched.
